I think Seiko has too much invested into “Hardlex” to not use it on everything.

I have the SSK003 blueberry now going on two weeks. I’m still in the honeymoon phase and I think this watch is flawless. Not only is it a fantastic looking watch but mine is keeping almost perfect time. I couldn’t be happier.

Everything he said - correct. Good vid. The sapphire addiction ...maybe we should back off a bit on this. Seiko is quite smart on materials.

I defiantly agree with the review but how are you banging it against walls? I can’t recall ever doing that with any watch.

Almost bought the watch than met somebody who actually had the watch, what broke my heart is no screwdown crown and no ratcheting bezel (no clicks, bezel moves free in both directions)😔, for that amount of money i would like to have a tool watch not one that looks like one

It's not $500 it retail now around $390 in japan. I think it's because of the crystal
