What people fail to understand is that Kang and Thanos belong to two separate class of villains. You cannot expect Kang to win in a fistfight or any sort of fight which requires brute strength. He is a mere human though from distant future. Thanos is a big purple alien from another planet. So Kang can never come near the physical strength and stamina of Thanos. However, the power that Kang possesses is multiversal and far more terrifying than Thanos's infinity stones which can at best destroy one universe. Kang has technological mastery of time and therefore of space which means he has control of all the universes that ever existed or can exist. When you are fighting Kang it doesn't matter whether he can take a punch or not, even after you beat him into a pulp he can easily erase you and your entire reality in that very condition. So Thanos and Kang both if them are dangerous but in their own ways. Only problem is that MCU hasn't shown any major feat of Kang yet and I am not sure whether MCU can do justice to his character.

Look, Thanos was an alien with knowledge of hundreds of war, hand to hand combats, master in weaponary, etc etc... On the other hand, Kang is just a human with high technology along with time travel power, but all his power were worthless in quantum realm thats why he was defeated by antman.. just think for a second, whole council of kangs won't imprison kang for no reason..

Kang was a human and his most powerful offensive was his ability to manipulate time and also his suit and ship. All of it was out of the picture when antman and wasp were pounding on him. At his best Kang can erase Thanos from existence without laying a single punch

The funny thing is, the avengers had to get Thanos at his weakest to slice his head off, plus Thanos would’ve easily clapped back if he saw it coming, and even in endgame they still couldn’t kill him. They used the infinity stones to wither him away
