99% of so-called fans are forgetting that these "ants" were highly advanced one with milions yrs of development. Their size was increased as well. And no, he wasn't defeated, just his armor got destroyed, he kept fighting with Scott afterwards. In quantum realm he was visibly depowered. At full power I can imagine him defeateding every single Avenger. After all he's variant of He Who Remains, and that guy was OP as hell

I would have made this film a masterpiece if I had been a screenwriter, even better than the Comics ant-man is in reality the open of the threat that is KANG and are right arm M.O.D.O.K who is really the ultimate weapon and who only thinks of carnage with a monstrous zombifier head Jason Voorhees style. . .
