Ramble On - our Led Zeppelin cover for upright bass, dobro, and guitar :)

It wasn't 48 hours after Toni got her upright bass that I heard her figuring out the bass part for "Ramble On" by Led Zeppelin, so I called up my friend Shane Akers on dobro and we figured out a little acoustic trio arrangement. Hope you enjoy this video as much as we enjoyed making it! Oh, and shout out to the owner of the business that appears behind us: Wet Paint, an arts supply store in St. Paul, MN. He heard music coming from the alley behind his store, so he came out to see what we were doing, and instead of telling us to pack up and leave, he welcomed us with open arms and stuck around to watch the filming of this video. This is why we love small businesses! :)

Reina del Cid is a singer songwriter and leader of the eponymous folk rock band based in Minnesota. Hope you guys enjoy our Zep cover! Also... any Lord of the Rings fans in the house? How about that third verse? I don't think I ever caught the Middle Earth references in this song before we sat down to learn it. :D

I've watched this at least 50 times. So much to take in. The guitar is unbelievable considering you are singing. Then the vocals, Toni on the bass. The dobro...the freaking dobro! Absolutely fantastic arrangement.
