Led Zeppelin formed in 1968 and went on to become one of the most influential, innovative, and successful groups in modern music, having sold more than 300 million albums worldwide. The band rose from the ashes of The Yardbirds, when Jimmy Page brought in John Bonham, John Paul Jones, and Robert Plant to tour as The New Yardbirds. In 1969, Led Zeppelin released its self-titled debut which was produced by Page, as were all the subsequent albums. It marked the beginning of a 12-year reign, during which the group was widely considered to be the biggest and most innovative rock band in the world.

When I was 25 I was diagnosed with cancer. Going through four rounds of chemo all I could do is sit in that chair and listen to led. Now I’m 30 and still rambling on.

My 19-year-old son passed away in an accident in May. We played this at his funeral. He was totally hip and intelligent beyond his years. He loved Led Zeppelin, mostly due to me playing it all the time as he grew up. It was his time to ramble on. This song is significant to me and always will be.

I love that Led Zeppelin isn't completely hard rock. It has it's gentler parts in each song. It's brilliant and beautiful.

John Paul Jones doesn’t get enough credit for his contribution to this brilliant piece of rock music here in this song. He carries this song with his bass line IMHO.

This song, along with Stairway to Heaven, Kashmir, and Your Time is Gonna Come goes down as one of Led Zeppelin's most beautiful songs.

One of those albums where every song is the best song of the album.

I've been with my Lady since 2011. We have been engaged since July 4th, 2017. We were 31 and 29 respectively. I had a stroke in 2020, been diagnosed with heart failure, atrifibulation, had 4 thyroid storms, I have graves disease and had my thyroid removed(along with many more surgery's). I love my Marina more every single day. And jealous of the time I won't be here with her. She's an absolute blessing. Thank you, Lord!

I first heard this in '89 and am listening in 2024 now. This song still kicks ass for a 55 yr old song.

My God. 1970’s music was incredible. The musicianship and mastery of the instruments. I’m glad I was privileged to be 12 through 21 years of age and exposed to a time of musical genius never to be repeated
