Quite uncommon to get a real breakdown of a real business, I appreciate you sharing. Lot of people right now just working to get by, even if they do have a business or assets

Hey the fact that you got profit out of it this early is genuinely impressive, usually starting businesses LOSE money at the beginning so you’re clearly doing things right.

I owned a Subway Franchise back in 2008-2010 and I can concur with everything that you stated. If you own a store that makes under 7k in weekly sales you will never ever make any money only owning one store. I remember back in the day the Subway royalty was 8% plus an extra 5% for advertising. You basically have to own 3 to 4 above average stores (7K + in weekly sales) to make any substantial amount of money. Good luck my man and I feel for ya. My family was stuck in that horrible business for over 10+ years and we made absolutely zero amount of money at the end of it

I hope you make it bro! Really rooting for you! Here’s my unsolicited advice: post everything related to your business on social media, especially YouTube and TikTok. People are fascinated by small business owners, and honestly they like to see if you’ll overcome the struggle.

Owning a subway is not a winning business strategy, but it sure beats sitting around waiting for the lottery. Keep it up

I was close to opening up a Jersey Mike's in 2014 until I realized that I could just open an independent one that I had 100% control over without having to pay any royalties or ridiculous franchise fees. I don't know how Subway's franchisee model works, but I would say get out of that contract as soon as you can and just go independent. You can make a lot more. I do about $10K/week during the summer months and the that drops to about $5K/week during the winter months which make it difficult to find good employees. But if you're doing $5.7K/week, you need to drop that labor cost in half. Labor cost is usually the biggest profit eater in any business, especially in food. Good luck to you.

I'm sure you don't want to post the location of your Subway but I would buy and I'm sure a lot of people would drop in to support. Keep pushing King🙌

My wife has been on me to open a subway for years. Your videos have saved me. We won’t be opening one. We make on average $4000 a week now and work from home. She thought we could just pay people to be there. Never actually he there and make $1000-1500 a week. No way. Thank you. And keep it up. $1000 a week isn’t bad. And you’re doing something with your life. You should be proud.
