How can you make the pad for example separated from the piano sound, when I play piano is on the first, pad second but at times it sound as if it blend, how can I make it sound separate sir

Thanks a lot for the info man! However my Modx8 always sounds muddy for some reason in the mid and lower sections even after tweaking sounds. It’s never just really crispy as the higher octave. Does amplifiers we use have something to do with this? I have a Roland.
