Minor mistake on the Ioniq 5 pricing, our listed price did not have the Ultimate package added for another $6k for a total of $60, 999. Go to tsp.TrueCar.com for discounted price offers with in stock pricing 😊

Ioniq 5 all day. I can't help but absolutely love the 80s "future" aesthetic.

The 6 it's a bit more of a classy electric car.

But I feel like both of them have a problem.. availability.

I saw the Ioniq 5 in person for the first time the other day, looks smaller in video for sure, but they NEED to keep that retro design a trend. It definitely stands out in traffic NO DOUBT.

Fun fact about the frunk on that IONIQ 6 - there's a rubber grommet on the underside of the hood that seals up the frunk instead of a lid like on the IONIQ 5. So it's still all sealed up in there when the hood is closed.

I friggen love that the 6 leans into aerodynamics... I actually love the shape. If anything, I wish it looked even more like the prototype

IONIQ 5 owner here. I have the dual motor SEL in the US. If you want the range of the single motor, you can drive in "ECO" mode which disables the front motor except for traction control needs, and you get the same range as the single motor. But then you still have the dual motors so you can rip it in sport mode or have the excellent "Snow" mode when you want/need them. Also I'm 6'4" and I don't have any problems with my knee hitting the gear selector stock. But I sit with the seat slightly farther back and slightly more upright than Jacub does, so that's probably the reason. Definitely the most fun car I've ever owned.

I got my IONIQ 5 (72kw battery and 218hp RW drive) in August last year and did 41000 Km. What a fabulous car! Drive it every day. My kids are falling a sleep after a first corner and we went all over the Europe. Such a good investment.

I test drove both; however, I couldn't tell the difference from a short test drive. I ended up choosing the Ioniq 6, and I have no regrets about the decision. I like it all the way.

The 5 looks epic in this spec. I appreciate a brand doing what most brands don’t, aka making their cars all look different. I always loved how Honda in 1998-2000 had a large array of cars but they all looked diff inside and out. Same situation here, vS Mercedes’ where all the sedans are smaller versions of the S class. I hate that

I bought a 5 but after having seen the 6 in person at the dealership I really like the 6 also. I think the 5 is the more practical, usable shape for most folks and I love the retro-future vibe but the 6 is quite attention grabbing in its own way.

How could no one love the looks of the Ioniq 5? It’s one of the best looking cars of the century so far!

There are 2 programmable buttons, one on the dash and one on the steering wheel. I’ve programmed the one to go straight home, and the other to go straight to phone projection. So it actually has something you didn’t think it does.

The 6 looks more traditional but with a futuristic flare I like it

I have the ioniq5, after 1 year and 40000km, it can say it's the best car I have ever owned. The quality of build is outstanding. Ioniq6 is beautiful but well too expensive. Hyundai made it expensive on purpose because they don't have today the capacity to mass produce. They never expected such success of their EV business. They have recently anounced pouring billions in new factories.

Ioniq 5 for me hands down. Been waiting for mine for 5 months now and it should be at me end of the month. Can't wait. I ordered the RWD 77.4kw Top spec model with DSM and Vision roof. The extra range made me go for the RWD over the AWD, power is more than enough on the RWD

The drag coefficient in Canada is actually . 22 for lower trims and . 24 for the Ultimate.

It's only . 21 in lower trims in markets where they have the cameras instead of side mirrors

Also, in the 5 you CAN change the ambient lighting color completely separate from the drive mode. I do it for my kids all the time.
