How to check the Arduino is working fine or not

The board we are using is Uno and is bought from following link.

In this video we are showing you how to check the Arduino board after unboxing.
This is a very rapid and simple test. You only require a 5V USB power supply. ATmega328P is programmable micro controller. We can program this using arduino IDE. This test can be done just after unboxing.

Near 2transistor the small ic 4a2d is extremely heating up what can i do ?? When power supply is on either programe is uploaded

i use 12 v in the bread board plus minus connection and also connected the arduino with the bread board.Then the arduino uno is not working.I spend even 2-3 hours.But i dont know 12v and 1.3 apm will demage the arduino.

but on mine the power led is not green it is red !! plus the pin 13 do not flash this fast!!! what is the problem with mine??

I accidentally connect 30 v to vin pin

Even reset button has no response
