good example, work fine in desmos if i use
u\left(x\right)=\left\{x>0:1, x<0:0\right\} to draw unit step function and
to draw ramp function

Why adding 3 u_8(t) because when you break the tailor-made ramp function with -3/4 (x-4) u_8(t) you get a line parallele to x axis at y(8)=3
