Just FYI, this set is on sale @ Home Depot for $99 as of 11/01/2024.

Got mine during the Christmas holiday for $99, liked it so much I picked up the 1/4 set and put them both in packout. The squared design is good and keeps them from rolling away. The ratchet has a nice contour grip and I like the closed head.

My work provided this set to me. I personally like it and its a big step up from the sk sets that they used to issue us.

Just bought a full TEKTON 3/8 set with the breaker bar. I didn't have enough cash to dedicate a seperate set to 1/2" but needed a 24mm to change oil filters and TEKTON fit all the bills. Definitely worth a look imo.

I picked up the 1/4, 3/8 and the 1/2" sets. I love how compact the cases are.

The ratchets are made in Taiwan and are one of the best ratchets available today. Strong and smooth. Built like a tank and sealed head. Not sure where the sockets are made but i haven't broke one yet.
The warranty process is separate from the cordless tools. It is a simple "take a picture" get a new tool no hassle at all. Do not need a reciept, they are covered by a true lifetime warranty!
A side note the Capri CP90's use exact same internals and are interchangeable. The Milwaukee ratchet body is thicker than Capri CP90 but exactly the same right down to the coverplate and screws (Capri even has MW90 stamped on the pawl) tested higher torque than Snap-on

Recently picked up this set, the main selling point for me was the fact that you can put an open end wrench on them. Rear shocks in my car are an extremely tight fit, and these are perfect for those top sunk in bolts. Also used them this evening for replacing an exhaust manifold, performed flawlessly. Really prefer separate drive size sets in cases like this, over having multiple drive sizes in the same kit.

I have this set! The squared off socket design is what sold me. I also have the icon 3/8 flex head long reach ratchet to pair with this kit.

Just grabbed this and the impact socket set from hd $150 combined

Very good value. Bought it, because of the slim case with a lid that opens flat and functions as a tray. I might get the 32 piece metric only set or just the case and tray if I can find it.

Just bought mine for $99 from HD and it comes with a free 6 piece screedriver set.

6:20 You say “sizing wise 1/4” drive up to 1 inch” - Is it 3/8” set? Seems 1” for 1/4 drive is not normal

I do like the Milwaukee socket sets and the ratchets without the comfort grip. Bit pricey over here in the UK in comparison to other sets, and don't usually see too many offers on them.

That's a boss deal if it goes on sale for $99.

With Black Friday coming up which mechanic tool set do you recommend? I recently bought Gearwrench 232 and 243 piece set . I was disappointed the sockets were not the original ones and are lower quality and look like the crescent brand sockets . I really like the Gearwrench rachets and ratcheting wrenches . However I’m not paying for lower quality sockets . Would you recommend Milwaukee, ICON, or other Gearwrench socket set ? I’ve watched all of your reviews and these seem like the better quality . What would you recommend if you and to put your own money on it ?

I have the packout version, BUT I do feel like Milwaukee sets are overpriced. Seems like they are more than all of the other mid-grade brands

is there a pack out model that the 56 pc tray fit in? or just for that 106 pc? and do the 106 pc inserts in the compact low profile organizers?

A lot of people would empty that case and it will end up in the landfill so why not sell in a packout, yes more expensive but better around.
