Ed, Edd n Eddy - Monster Kankers Story

Показать описание

Ed tells a bedtime story about how he, Eddy, and Double D got stuck in Johnny's wall. This clip is from the episode, "Once Upon an Ed."

This clip can be used to illustrate oral storytelling in communication. Ed tells a bizarre yet elaborate tale of the Kanker sisters and their plan to foil The Eds' attempts. Ed uses descriptive language and tone strategically to tell the story in a convincing manner. As strange as the tale may be, it includes the five common elements of a story: characters, setting, plot, conflict, and resolution.

"Ed, your story's getting weird!"

A fourth wall break inside a fourth wall break? That's like...sixteen walls!

I love how this story implies Ed can't understand Double D, yet somehow he can understand Rolf just fine?

"Ed, your story's gettin' weird." is the best line of the entire show.
You cannot change my mind.

I think it's so damn cute how Edd and Eddy are portrayed in this story. Edd's like a scared little kid, always hugging into Ed for protection and Eddy's out in front trying to defend them. It's so sweet that this is how Ed sees his friends. Like, he doesn't see or notice any of their bad qualities and just focuses on the good.
I'm likely over analysing this but it's just so sweet to me.

Ed telling the whole conclusion of how they got stuck in Jonny's wall in the first place is the best part of the entire episode.

“I’M A MINOR, STOP!!”

I love how that line aged well.

The funniest thing is that Ed's story is probably closest to what really happened out of the three

I love how Ed visualizes himself as a hero. Can you imagine his interpretation of their other ridiculous escapades? Probably not because ONLY THE CLAW KNOWS.

This episode is special because it gives us the point of view of all the eds... also the depiction of Double D on Ed's story is the best moment of the whole show

"For little did Ed, Edd and Eddy know..."

Best title drop ever. XD

You gotta love how even though they didn't say it, you can piece together exactly how they ended up in Johnny's wall. Eddy planned a Jawbreaker bank scam to deposit jawbreakers and take them, Double D was in for the idea of a jawbreaker bank completely. Jimmy brought one, while Ed got an immediate craving for it and Eddy got to tenacious, scaring him off. Double D Complains to both of them about why it failed when suddenly the kankers attack and they all run throughout the whole cul-de-sac, and they corner them. than Ed just books it and busts them into the wall.

Can we all agree that Ed can tell a better story than 99% of people in Hollywood.

*Kanker squashes Jimmy*
"BABY SISTER!!!"

The fact that Ed completely ignores the fact that Jimmy pretty much just died gets me every time XD

The three stories more or less symbolise each of the Eds own personality.

Eddy's story symbolises Eddy's own greed, selfishness and being self centred

Edd's story symbolises him being the straight man of the group and the architecture like drawings in the back ground displays his intelligence.

Ed's story symbolises his overreactive imagination and his love for B movies with the way the story pans out.

I like how Ed's story implies he's actually pretty damn creative. Double D and Eddy's versions just focus on roasting others. I can sorta imagine Ed would become some kind of an artist in adulthood.

I like how with the exception of Double D, Ed’s interpretation of everyone else is the closest to how they really are. He has the most unbiased interpretation of his neighbors

I love how Nazz just stops running to take the time to laugh at the ridiculousness of the situation
