It's funny because I don't see this as a "reinvention" of the show, this IS the show in a nutshell, and the artstyle fits perfectly.

The reanimated opening portion had me laughing mostly, but was also making me a bit emotional with the overwhelming nostalgia. But then, towards the end... I hadn't heard that Plank song in many years and that whole thing hit me like a truck. Amazing work. Crying happy tears and wishing that time didn't have to go by so fast.
