Why Forspoken FAILED Miserably? Review

What Actually Went Wrong?

There was clearly a lot of anticipation for Luminous Productions' open-world RPG Forspoken when it was initially shown in 2021 with an introduction video featuring the game's slick parkour, eye-catching combat, and fearsome creatures.

Since then, additional gameplay was shown, a sizable trial was made available for gamers to try out the combat, and eventually, the entire game has been released. However, it appears that the anticipation for the game has reached an all-time low.

Sadly, this gradual fall has resulted in the publication of a game that is disappointingly average and doesn't seem to belong on next-generation technology.

It seems weird to see it fail this badly when it has so much potential and well-known people on the team. But in all honesty, this isn't the first time something similar has occurred.

The open world alone is the reason to reject this. It really feels and dull and more importantly dead when you play it and gets worse after few hours its just horrible 🤡

I like the first hour when Fry is in the real World. The game become like Elder Ring after Fry had gone to another World.

I haven’t played cuz of the whole 4-5 hrs til you really gain full control of the character without constant cut scenes and about 30 hours til you get more into the combat system. Because the combat is all that interested me about it.

Personally I don't focus much on the storyline if the combat system is good and is good enough to keep me entangled. Bought it!

I just find it insane how much worse a game can look after it was shown for the first time. Like how does that even work? They made the game look so real like 2yrs ago to it looking like this. 🤯 Another thing is why doesn't anyone took a page from FromSoftware's AI system which is very challenging. The AI in this game looks brainless.

Do game companies compete anymore. If I was a game developer I would be looking at the “Elden rings” and the “GoWs” as the formula to make good open world games. The combat is next gen.

No way anyone should pay 70$ for this. I'm willing to pay 30-40$ but not this much. Over that, the game is full of performance issues

The game designers just don't get it. Gamers do not want to play another game where 1) You are the Chosen One, 2) You have God-Like Powers. Add to this an unbelievable choice of protagonist, bad story line and horrible dialogue and the designers created a dud from the get-go.
