Cant believe no one has mentioned this. We do this with trucks alot. The height of the strap has to be the same to make ot even. It is mounted higher upbon the Kraton.. qhen they pull it will pull down on the back tires of the krayton and pull the tires of the Traxxas up in the back getting less traction. Im new to RC cars sobi dont have a dog in this fight but could have told you which one would have won before they even started based on the strap hook up hight

Those tires aren’t gonna make any difference the k8 is extremely heavy and to pull that along with a motor tugging the opposite way is a difficult thing to do

I like both systems, but the K8s clearly shined on both dirt and grass.

The Kraton is heavier has more metal components than the traxxas. standard physics heavier will get better traction and pull more weight...
