I’m going to post this on every one of your videos.

Your content is life changing. I just found you within this past few weeks to month and my god how much time you would have saved me if I had found you soon is terrifying to think.

I’ve made leaps and strides from where I used to be but you got me from the highest part and broke those limits.

I just squat for the first time in my life without feeling restriction and pain and I haven’t even done the excercise in this video yet. I’ve just done fixes for asymmetry and psoas release.

You are amazing.

Can confirm that working on the hips fixes tight calves. Nothing else did for me.

Hi Conor, can you clarify what you meant at 0:50 when you say the calf is in a shortened position with a forward center of mass? Is this during the gait cycle? When standing still it would seem like you have more dorsiflexion (with heel still on the ground) with a more forward center of mass.

Yes... you appear to be very well educated and experienced in many physical therpeutic matters. I particularly like the stretch that kinda incorporates a modified bear crawl since I crawl everyday anyway. The one you do on the floor where you lift your buttocks... I do that one regularly too. I never thought to elevate my feet, however. That might help to add that too. I also do one where I put my feet on an elevated box and put my hands on the floor and lift my buttocks up and down. A podiatrist told me a few years ago that I should concentrate when I walk, run, and stand on kinda pulling up and back, starting from the bottom of my legs all the way up the back of my legs through to my buttocks. I've also found that it also helps to gently contracting muscles of the back to support the torso in the new alignment. And you have to change the front and sides to the new alighment too. Being I have the fallen arches it's difficult to know which stretches that I'm really better off doing with my sneakers and orthotics on and which it doesn't really matter so much. If I do the calf muscle stretch hanging the foot from the stair or use the slant board I think it's better to put on the sneakers and orthotics.... otherwise, the arches will stretch too... and I don't need more of that! Thanks for all the helpful stretches and exercises! Very pragmatic. Like what the podiatrist did a few years ago you're giving good starting points. It's not the end of the journey, but you're getting me started.

Wow, really impressed. Thank you so much for the video. I'm going to give this a go now... I've pain on the left side of leg after walking... both calf and heel. I've tried almost everything available on this planet. Hope this works :)

I've had tight calves for maybe 15 years now. I don't think I ever feel air filling up on the posterior side. I will try your suggestions!

I'm 1/4 of the video in...and you've basically described EVERYTHING about me. When I'm standing for 1 minute, it feels oioe my calve muscle is being anchored down to the ground, I begin to steer losing feeling in my ankles, it gets hard to walk, my legs feel like dead weight....it's been wreaking havoc on my mental health....severe depression from feeling so limited. People don't believe me when I express how I feel, tell me I look too young...and it makes me feel even worse. I shouldn't be like this.

thank you for your intelliigence, yes i have forward tilted pelivs, can breathe into ribs, lordosis, i think solution is getting my butt enganged and maybe letting go of some of the barre workouts which is all on toes, do you recommend putting weight in heels when you have this issue?

When I do the 1st one with my legs on the foam roller, I feel my hamstrings stretch as I inhale and lower my hips down. Is this supposed to happen?

I have some confusion
I have watched your webinar on gait training according to that mid stance favours hamstrings and adductor . But as in typical left AIC pattern left foot pronated so it should be in mid stance then why we try to strengthen hamstrings and adductors?
