Bath salts were never marketed as "synthetic marijuana". These were two separate and distinct families of drugs.
Bath salts were crystalline compounds similar in appearance to fine grained rock salt, intended to be ground up and snorted. They were engineered to mimic the effects of methamphetamines.
The drugs marketed as "synthetic marijuana" and sold under names like Spice, K2 and Mojo looked like crushed herbs, were intended to be smoked and would mimic the effects of a debilitating brain injury.

I am 57, been smoking weed / hash since 1982 and did acid ect in the 80's but nothing since, I would never try any of this crap.
I have full support for weed from my heart specialist and also epilepsy nurse, in writing too, pity it is still illegal in the UK apart from expensive private specialist doctors.

I live in Colombia, and yes, Scopolamine / burundanga / borrachera is real. There are plenty of documented cases, and I know victims. One error in the video though, is it is not new at all. It comes from a tree that the indigenous have used for eons. Having said all that, while it is something to be careful of, Colombia remains safe and attractive for tourists who use common sense. I started visiting in 2004 and have been living here since 2013, and have not been a victim of any crime.

I was hoping krokodil would be on the list. I saw a documentary on it and I told myself that even before I got sober, that that would be one drug I never do cuz it showed the actual effects of krokodil, not just a cartoon. It's definitely a real insane drug
