In this tutorial I'll show you how to create and import custom LODs for Unreal Engine 4. We are going to use 3Ds Max 2021 to create a simple crate and after that import it in UE4.
This UE4 LOD Tutorial will help you improve your game performance and make it more optimized. There will be a follow up video to also show you how to optimize vegetation.

Thank you for this video. The auto compute function for screen size is what I have been looking for. The NoNormal up and simply using texture is greatly appreciated sugestion, now I have to go back and fix all my models for better performance. Thanks a lot.

OK BIG question, that I can't seem to find anywhere. ---- If I only use unreal 4 at the moment, can I build my cities/buidlings etc with my landscapes - is that the efficient way? Or do I need to learn 3d studio max now, just to build it there and import them?

is it possible to make a collision in UE4 based on the dispalcement not on the geometry
