FACT/S - There's a rumour going around that Puss in Boots might not be in Shrek 5! Yeah, I know, it sounds crazy, right? We got the big news that Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey are definitely back and will be voiced by the original cast. But there's no mention of our favorite swashbuckling cat. Considering how awesome Puss in Boots: The Last Wish was, it's super weird that his voice actor wasn't part of the announcement.
The only reason that makes sense is that Puss in Boots isn't in the movie at all. But that would be such a dumb move! Remember, The Last Wish ended with Puss heading back to Far Far Away, ready for new adventures with old friends, setting up for Shrek 5 perfectly. Leaving him out wouldn't just disappoint fans, but it would totally mess with the story's flow. Puss in Boots is a core part of the Shrek universe. Seriously, you can't have Shrek 5 without him! I really hope there's a surprise entry for the warrior feline.

The voice actor of Perrito Harvey Guillen confirms there characters would appear in Shrek 5, Lobo the Death Wolf will not appear beacuse his hatred against Puss, Lobo is is my favorite since Donkey is going to have his own series I hope he has his franchise.

You could argue Shrek 5 is happening at the same time and the end of puss movie is actually a Shrek 6 teaser in disguise if they really want to milk the series. It would also help a bit with character reintroduction overload after all these years
