Dude, I started learning how to play in 2002 when I was 13-14. I used to have a poster for the major/minor scales on my wall but never understood how it works. It looked so confusing so I stuck with just playing chords and learning tabs. I finally wanted to get past that and you broke this down so well. I wish I had a teacher like you when I was 14. Lol

So I´m a guitar beginner (1 1/2 Month in). Yesterday I visited my friend, who plays the piano and I asked him if he could teach me some basic music theory, as I am just starting getting into it. I had a lot of difficulties transforming the knowledge I gained to my electric guitar. Spend all of my morning looking up videos, and ended up with nothing but dudes who show their scale shredding skills, not learning anything.

But u Sir just nailed it. Im so happy I found this ! Finally understood. First Person who actually bothers explaining something for beginners in a reasonable speed. Thank you so much !
