The PSP is, and probably always will be, the greater handheld ever made. The fact it’s still relevant today is insane.

I bought my first PSP-2000 almost a year ago. It's my go to emulation machine for GameBoy Advance and PS1.
Since then I used it daily but my Switch collects dust because the PSP is pocketable. I never leave my house without my PSP.

I was in school back then and this thing was one of the most popular consoles back then. Truly IT WAS the Walkman of our generation - the Millennials. And I remembered how badly I wanted one and I couldn't get even when I tried to save up from my allowance. Now today, I managed to get one few years back and I still keep it in my storage box, I need to change the stick since it is wasted and some TLC it will be back to prime. Such a lovely little gadget.

I wish people are working to make the online features of PSP back to its full functionality as it is very much to this day, enjoyable. Retro gaming is even a thing, pixelated games are still being developed and are very much applicable and playable on PSP's.

What a coincidense. I just got back into collecting psp games and playing it. I used to watch your iphone videos. And at this point I play more on psp than my maxed out PC setup. The psp is where mobile gaming is at. none of these new phone games which have disgusting micro transactions. Funny that we have to go back 15 years to play games that were actually good on the go. I love the psp it was basically my childhood. I never had a gameboy or any ds at all but had a psp.

There are so many hand held retro consoles on the market these days. Many people don't know that the PSP is an emulation beast! Rock solid arcade emulation with the CPS1 and 2 ports and the MVS plays the NEo GEo flawlessly. Most 16 bit consoles and the GBA run like water.

I bought 2 recently, love them! Modded & tweaked them to oblivion 😊 i prefer the PSP 3000 models. I have a Hannah Montana model and the other is the God of war Kratos Red ♥️ Great video

I have a Japanese 1000, 3001, Japanese psp Go, and the Vita. out of all of them, I use more the psp Go when I'm out and the Vita when I'm home but my favorite will always be the 1000.

This was my go to I was around for the original release am now 46 a miss being disconnected from net and playing games without need being online. It was great if u in hospital u told ur dad bring ur console in and didnt need wifi it was great as most hospitals back then didnt have wifi

I prefer the 3000 more for all its other improvements but goddamn the 1000 has such a good outer shell design. It’s so much more premium-looking and feeling than the other models.

My psp from 2008 still works after 16 years, battery life still ok... Says something about the quality of Sony...
Very good buttons, only replaced the joystick once.. maybe the lower resolution does not hold op nowadays, but nevertheless very impressed...
