These little cuties are the best thing for your house, they eat ticks, spiders, silverfish, cockroaches, one of the most beneficial creatures you can have in your home. I love them, yes, they look freaky, however they’re extremely shy, and never bite unless you threaten them and trap them. Let them have their space, because in the bigger picture, they keep your space insect free.

When I spot a centipede, I’ll usually use a plastic cup and a piece of cardboard to catch it and release it outside.

Great vid, thanks! I have them all over the outside of my house but only very occasionally inside. Located in Minnesota. Things are definitely cool to observe! Just took a vid last night of a mature house centipede munching on a rather large spider(maybe .75” diameter, legs included).

I appreciate people who don't want to kill bugs. But one of these crawled onto my ceiling, fell on my bed, and hid under the pillow. No thanks. I don't want them inside my house. Of course I am now making sure they have no food supply. The moisture is a problem because I rent and the landlord doesn't care. Anyway, it's been a wild adventure against the centipedes.

Getting rid of centipedes is pretty dim. It is smarter to keep them. No reason to exterminate something that is helping you.

From nearby you. I don't kill centipedes because they kill the things I don't want. The one thing that they kill I would like to keep around and spiders because these two creatures take care of unwanted pests

They also hate peperment and eucalyptus oils mix some of these essential oils with water and spray it on the inside of your house to help deter them.

We visiting my wife aunt for Christmas in Indiana, my wife was showering in the morning and found one of those in the shower, she jumped back like a cat
Sorry we had to kill it, they ugly looking !!! we didn’t know what it was, we’re from florida and centipedes look different, that’s why im here investigating what we have murdered, now i feel bad, we should’ve scooped it out the house
But will give it a good burial
Next time will not kill it

I saw one today in my bathroom for the first time. It scared the hell out of me but I felt guilty for trying to kill it so I just left it alone. I’m still scared though cuz my bathroom is next to my bedroom 😱

I have these things appear occasionally in my apartment and they always confuse me they must be eating something but I never see anything they could be using as a food source

👉Make a solid 1" line of Plain baking soda across the outer edge of all outside door thresholds! That keeps out ALL BUGS from crawling in. Especially great for keeping ants out too. 🙂🥂 Cheers! from Niagara Falls, CANADA 🇨🇦
