Chaos Corona 12 is here

I am just going to say, keep the material library both in local and on chaos browser. Since the chaos browser is online, you cant work remote, sometimes you have an unstable connection and chaos cosmos doesnt like that. It also crashes so much or it wont start, so I love being able to access the corona materials on the fly.

I don't know why so many people are excited about this update, it seems unfortunate to me compared to how technology is advancing in other rendering engines, how depressing to pay for this kind of updates, for you Chaos is a deserved update to be corona 12, the truth is This is like a corona 11.1, it hurts so much disapproved potential.

Toon render element to add a pencil line to white cards like vray? Ability to turn off visible in reflections on an object by object basis like vray? Literally been asking for this for 5 years and still never been given a reason why they cant be added. They are so much more useful to us arc viz guys that 75% of updates that have been added in the last 5 years

Very poor update for more than half a year of work. Vantage integration simple does not work half the maps and half the stuff dont work. New VFB has no composition helpers no autowhiteballance, no auto exposure stuff that Vray already has. Half the new updates on this release are chaos scatter updates too. You should start naming updates .5 or use letters, this ain't corona 12 in any way.

Its like ever since Chaos bought Corona, all the good things we loved about Corona Renderer were stripped from it and given to Vray.

They spent the best Part of the Year working on an update to Version 11 only to Name and widely Celebrate it as Version 12. This should be called Version 11.1. I find it Ridiculous that all the Improvements we the Corona renderer users asked for have be Neglected or Half-assed implemented. It's pathetic and they would still increase prices for this already overpriced Plugin.

I wish corona would have a GPU based option, because nowadays people would rather choose a highend GPU for multiple tasks than an over priced CPU that is not really fast as a GPU to render.. proudly CPU corona does not impress when it comes to speed of GPU. While VRay upscaling is a great feature to get fast results for drafts, this could be also implemented in Corona. Probably should make a Corona and Vray hybrid plugin that can switch between two one day. Like use corona engine or vray engine with a unified material or one single frame buffer that serves both engines, this would share post production presets on teams etc... Otherwise probably will end up killing one software in the future..like Autodesk has a habit of

This is not a great animation. Corona is better than this. I don’t understand why they used sub par animations for the trailer for something as amazing as Corona 12. It’s like, we can create magic, here’s something below average. We can do much better than this. I don’t understand.
