Tempering needs more than 5 tries … especially on ancestral.

Rolling every attempt for the one affix you need, on a temper slot that only has a possibility of three outcomes, and not even seeing it pop up as a low roll is infuriating to no end.

I think using Helltide cinders to re-roll tempers would be a great loop in the game! Make it use only the blacksmith in that Helltide zone, if one is available so it’s not guaranteed to be used in every hell tide! So you choose to spend cinders on opening chest or re-rolling tempers

Seeing him solo a level200 Uber boss as a level 95 Druid makes me want to cry as a Ice shard Sorcerer. Bosses are a nightmare, everything else is easy.

Season 4 is good but I hate bricking the item... what a stupid idea! You spend days grinding for the perfect gear only to brick it. What a waste

Stig stones are rare, dont use them on mid bosses and find a group to stretch the runs. I have wasted a couple already and just run normal duriel until you get all gear master worked or make sure someone in group can kill the lvl 200 boss.

I would love a currency that allows you to remove a temper that you don't need. Meaning if there are 5 possible outcomes you could remove 1 or 2 or 3 from the pool to increase the odds of being what you want.

Here is a thought. There just shouldnt be a reason to "brick" an item when re-rolling. It literally does nothing but cause more mindless farming and frustration. If players have the mats, let them reroll indefinitely. Most of these won't matter post season with the inevitable post season nerfs.

Fixxing tempering isn't even that hard, just have set feature where each time you roll a temper the options you have yet to roll increase in chance. So for example if my temper options are max life, barrier generation, and armor, and i happen to roll armor. After rolling armor have a system where the chance to roll a barrier generation or max health roll are higher since i haven't rolled them yet. This could stack for example if despite the better chances to get the roll i want i happen to get armor again or life, then increase the chances of getting barrier generation even more as it has yet to been rolled.

Tempering is shit, nothing makes me ragequit quicker than rolling the wrong stuff 4 times in a row. I really hope they rework this system. They should let us choose the affix and then just rng the roll value.

They should add an item that will allow to add more tempering terolls, for example that drops only from 90+ pit, so we have a reason to do it lol,

on top of that they should be some mechanism to "save" masterworking on lvl 4/8/

It's so annoying to have going from 8 to 0 becuase your 2nd 25% is shit, when you decide to reset and they you cant hit deisred 25% at level 4 you basically lose power

The tempering pity system, I think is just a matter of probability, not an actual system. The only way to prove this for certain is data mining and I don't think it has been done for this.

The last update killed my necro, before update i could easily do up to tier 60 in the pit now i struggle with tier 45 :'( its infuriating

The fix i think they need is to let you pick the temper you want, it costs more to do and the % range is the risk element.

I've lost 3 perfect rings because cutthroat stubbornly would not yield to vulnerable.

Best option here is when tempering fails u r allowed to put on the affix u want, with the lowest stat on it. Tempering would be only for high stat rolls

There is 100 percent a bug on dodge chance. I tested it with bad pairs of pants that I found. I fully rolled 3 pairs of pants and got dodge chance more than half of the time..
It’s infuriating..
