Bonus tip for the Elixirs: If you have one you use frequently you can bind it to a slot on your Emote Wheel to access it more quickly.

Fun fact: If you go to map, then collections, then codex, and see a aspect you want but cant see the dungeon on your map, you can mark it and it will drop a pin and direct you to it. The map doesnt even need to be discovered on the track dungeon either.

Love watching Diablo videos from a Destiny creator named Fallout. Real gamer, this guy.

You’re killing it with the Diablo content. As a first timer Diablo player, it’s nice having a familiar face handing out these tips. Definitely thought aspects from dungeons just auto-applied lol

Really important to note that if you imprint an aspect onto a new piece of gear, you CANNOT extract it. they are one time use, so if you have an aspect with a perfect roll, save it for endgame

I have a couple of tips.

1. Aspects you take off of a piece of gear can only be placed on another piece once. You can't take it off again and place it on a third piece.

2. The effects you get from aspects don't stack. If you have the same aspect on two pieces of gear, you're basically wasting one aspect slot for nothing.

Oh man and here I was thinking I appreciated your Destiny content. As a first time Diablo player it’s so nice to be guided by someone I’ve followed for years. I’ve arguably learnt more in this video, than the first few days of actually playing the game. Keep up the good work mate!

Important to note that salvaging also unlocks Transmog options. When at the blacksmith, all items with the "pickaxe" icon above then can be salvaged for new looks, be it weapons or armor. I salvage almost everything for mats, but it also means that I never miss an opportunity for new ways to customize my character's appearance!

Bonus tip for end game (after campaign and lvl 50). Do nightmare dungeons. They are guaranteed to drop a legendary and the higher the tier, then higher the chance of a unique dropping. Do tree to get your first tier 1, grind tier 1 until a tier 2 drops, do tier 2 to get a tier 3. After you complete a tier 3 you can craft at the occultist any tier of keystone. Best tier to fast farm is your level minus 50

Here a few very basic/beginner tips a friend of mine didnt know. Might help a few of you:

1) You can leave a Dungeon in the emote wheel. You dont have to walk back or have to go to town. Handy if your next objective is nearby the Dungeon.

2) Not all available emotes are on your wheel. This is important because certain buffs trigger because off certain emotes. You can customise your wheel at the wheel.

3) Upgrade your stash asap

4) You can buy multiple transmog saves at the wardrobe where you can save your looks.

Hope this helps atleast someone

Once you start getting gear that is 700 power level you can upgrade it to 725, which is the last breakpoint of gear affix. +2 skill will become +3 skill.

I feel like as a new player, this might be one of those games I have to sink an extra play through to really grasp the mechanics. I am ready!

Reminder of Codex of Powers: They are always the lowest possible stats available for that aspect. So you can use them infinitely, but you may find the same aspect that is a higher stat roll on a piece of gear later on.

One tip that helped me for the Renown grind: Pick up all the side quests you can, especially ones near the dungeon you want to clear. There are a LOT of side quests that require going into dungeons and getting extra renown for your time is always a good thing.

Two major tips I would say is: 1) Unbind zoom to scroll wheel (there's a check button in the controls tab) and rebind scroll wheel to force move. This takes a little bit of set up but its waay better than clicking every time to move. 2) If you play League of Legends, rebind your skills to QWER.

For the codex of power. If you look at all of them. Find one you want to get now. You can pin the location of the dungeon, even if you havent discovered it.

Yep. Learned something new today. I'm not new to Diablo, and played every one of them, but I'm also not a hardcore player. So far in Diablo 4, I'm at level 44, and watching this video made me realize I've been completely neglecting some of the coolest features. Will definitely make some adjustments.

End game tips that blew my mind (lvl 50+ after beating story):
1. Do Helltides whenever you can: They drop the material you'll need to change abilities on your equipment
2. Get to the 70% resistance cap for all Elements, except for Cold. Cold damage can easily be dodged. I was swapping different sets of boots for what Elements the NM dungeons had, then wondering why I got one-shotted when an Elite used electricity when the NMD description said they used poison. Get three on your boots, one one your chest, then even the rest out with Paragon boards or your jewelry equipment slots.

For new Hardcore players: you can assign hotkeys to the emote wheel. Assign a key or mouse button to Scroll of Escape and cheat death potion.

Something I feel like it could be easily missed or glossed over is the “force move” and “force stand still” keybinds.
They can be a real lifesaver from time to time.
