New Diablo 4 Season 6 Leveling Strategy

I'm Raxxanterax and I make Build Guides, Leveling Guides, Tier Lists and More for Diablo 4, Last Epoch, Path of Exile and Path of Exile 2. Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred Patch 2.0 came with significant changes to the leveling process and how you progress your character. From 1-60 you no longer have incentive to go grind Nightmare Dungeons and get to spend time grinding Helltide, PvP Zones or Strongholds in the open world. Here's a quick rundown of how you can get to level 60 super fast and how to progress your character beyond 60 so you can eventually take on Torment 4.

1. Campaign
2. Season 6 Questline + Class Quest
3. Helltide / PvP zone until Lv.37
4. Clear Nahantu Strongholds (Drop difficulty) until Lv.60
5. Pit 20 to unlock Torment 1
6. Farm HT (blood) / ND (fear) / IH / Season Mechanic (?)
7. Group search to fight ubers (4x drops)
8. Increase torment as your char gets stronger

I really wish they would keep adding more to the campaign each season. Imho, it would make the grind more worthwhile than just for the loot. Maybe have campaign stories for each unique? Like how Shako was designed to defeat a certain enemy. Give us a taste of how an Uber unique works in the campaign to entice us to grind for the endgame version. I’d LOVE IT if we could do a campaign plus like how Borderlands does. Imagine running the campaign in Toment!

I really hope that strongholds remains the 'meta' way to level at the start of a season, so much more interesting/fun than the usual.

So basically, the boss mats will not drop nearly as much as before since it will take longer for the high end torment to be farmable. I'll be planning builds without uniques.

Hopefully, doing the season journey, or the season caches will give us boss mats like they did last time, so you may not even have to farm boss mats
