I love how the Side-by-Side sections of this video also let you hear the difference between the original and remake Legendary battle theme, it's nice to hear them separate and together at once.

I went into the Distortion Room with my team at an average Level 70, the best I had was my Gastrodon who knew Ice Beam, damn near shit my pants when I saw that Shadow Giratina was Lv 100 lmao… I froze it on the first turn, and it STAYED frozen for the entire battle, god I wish I had this kind of luck during my Nuzlockes

giratina’s overworld sprite is GARGANTUAN in dppt compared to bdsp, where he’s like a foot taller

The first time giratina used shadow force scared me. I was like what!?!?!?

BDSP really dropped the ball in terms of potential it could've had, but never utilized because it went for the "1:1 faithful" direction rather than going the HGSS and especially ORAS route where there are some tweaks to the story and including notable improvements from the originals' third versions like more Pokémon variety. There could've been a "Platinum/Renegade Episode" that has a neat postgame story that's inspired by Platinum's.

It's such a shame. This could've been so much better, but nope, it's just DP with subtle improvements.

I remember when I caught giratina in platinum. I wanted a clean switch into my gastrodon so I swapped to my level 20 bibarel (I had it so I could use HMs) but giratina used ominous wind so it didn't kill the bibarel. I then decided as a joke to throw a disk all and giratina was caught. I guess it was intimidated my bibarel being immune to its attack lol

I still don't understand how PLA will have references to characters introduced in Platinum but BD/SP didn't even include Looker.

Personally I would've swapped destiny bond with shadow force, that way it's actually a competitive giratina

Kinda sad that the Distortion World in BDSP is only available in Ramas Park and not in either Spear Pillar or Turnback Cave

At 0:07 as one can see giratina's size seemed almost accurate but the remakes totally ruined that also 😔. At 4:00 Giratina looks so SMALL
