I've heard very similar stories. When my dad was younger and was solo hiking in the mountains of southern Japan, he saw hundreds of samurai in armours, carrying swords, and also carrying injured people on their backs. Nobody believed him, and my family still makes fun of it. But he is not a kind of guy to joke around like that. Just got reminded watching this.

I was at our local our local outdoor swimming pool back in the late sixties, I came out of the changing cubicle and it seemed different lots of different kids there no sign of my big sister or my friends I didn't mind I just ran into the shallow kids and started playing, shortly after a press photographer said come kids look this way for a photograph, he was standing by the diving area .
About 10 years ago I was passing the local news paper office and and there was the picture in the window, I went in and ask about 'my' picture in the window, I chatted with the staff saying that I remember that photo been taken in the late sixties, the staff said no it was taking in 1951, I was born in 1962, but there I am in black and white and I remember the day clearly , so I must have slipped through a time glitch that day back to 1951 . I am so glad to have that photo to back up the memory, a curious mystery,

I experienced a time slip one Easter. I was about 9 yrs old, and was playing outside. We wandered onto a part of the woods we generally avoided, and there were these gigantic, ancient, empty snail shells laying around that I'd never seen before! They looked very fragile, and I didn't want to break one accidently. Going back the next day, prepared to collect one of them, the snail shells had all vanished. Not a speck remained! I decided that I had somehow been transported. This happened over 55 yrs. ago, but it's still a fresh memory.

I no of a man who was walking in France on a path which was part of a first world war battle. His camera was slung over his shoulder and for no reason the flash and camera went off. He thought nothing of it but when he got back home and had his photographs developed, on this one picture were soldiers very close charging across the field . Really freaked him out. I've seen a copy of the photo and you can clearly see they were French soldiers. Very disturbing.

I think that time doesn't pass it just rewrites itself on top of the past, overlapping. When I was about ten at my grans I asked her who the lady was upstairs. My gran asked me to describe her so I said small with grey hair in a bun, a long dark dress and some silver chains hanging from her waist. Gran said that it was her mother who had died many years before. She didn't call me crazy and I had never seen a photo of my great gran either. A couple of years later I was sitting on a bridge near the cemetery and I saw a lady in old fashioned clothes with a hat and carrying a bunch of daffodils walking slowly towards me and when she got the the bridge she disappeared. I turned to see if she was on the other side of the bridge but saw in the cemetery a ball of light hovering over a grave instead. I used to think that things like this were normal as a kid. In Scotland there are many such stories.

What interests me is the connection between time slip and ghosts, we now know ghosts are not levitating or walking through walls but are actually going about their daily affairs but in their own house in their own time, and a time slip is basically the same, just a thought.🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I have had several time slips happen to me but none that crazy weird! I do however recall making friends with a girl at college when I was 16 and always thought there was something weird about her she had old fashioned 80s clothes and short hair (this was early 2000s) seemed nice enough but with an odd way about her. The day I made friends with her she gave me her house phone number. I rang the number that night and what sounded like a middle aged woman answered. I asked “is Helen there” and she said “no, no one called Helen lives here” .. disappointed, I rang off and thought ok I’ll question her on this when I’m in college next day” so that day I planned to ask her why she’d given me a false number but she was nowhere to be found. I never saw her again.

An odd thing like this happened to both my mother and I in Eureka Springs, AR. We walked down the wrong road thinking we were walking up to the Crescent Hotel which is noted to be haunted. Anyway, we were hot and thirsty and we passed a shop where a man in old clothes was making windows the old fashioned way. We thought he was simply demonstrating the process as happens in a lot of historical places. We went inside the shop and used the restroom and got a cup of lemonade for an unusually small price. The We chatted with the lady and our conversation went to her display window. She was so happy we noticed her handiwork in window dressing. "Let me show you my last year's Christmas display, " she said. She proceeded to pull out a black and white photograph trimmed around the edges like they used to do way back when. The picture showed a 1930's car and a window full of old dolls. It was not a set up picture to look old. By this time we were both getting a very odd feeling and finally managed to end the conversation and leave. As soon as we left things returned to the present (circa 1989). We looked back. The shop was empty. We walked really fast back to the car and went home.

I had a time slip no more than 11mths ago.It wasn't spooky it was just strange and unexplainable, and it was just a slip forward of about 25-30mins. With 2 of my sisters I had been to a gathering of family and friends at my brothers house as we often do. My younger sister lived not to far away from him so we were staying the night at hers. My husband was picking us up the next morning and dropping my older sister home .We'd had some breakfast and were just sitting at the table drinking coffee and talking, I was seated next to the window looking over her small garden. Her dog which was lying down suddenly was running to the door barking madly at someone there.I automatically glanced out of the window, saw my husband struggling with the gate to get in. The gate is usually bolted and the bolt is difficult to reach without standing on a small ledge of wall. ( She has it this way to prevent anyone getting into her garden and stealing her dog) The sister sitting next to me was rising to go to the door, I told her it was ok it was just my hubby I'd get it.I could see him quite clearly, it is a very small garden he was only a few strides away. He was standing on the stone ledge leaning over the gate trying to reach the bolt.I walked the few steps to let him in.I thought he had stepped of the wall as he had seen me coming but when I opened the gate he wasn't there. I looked both ways along the pathway, no sign of him.I then thought he must have went back to the car for something. I went under the archway to the front where the car gets parked. There was no hubby and no car there.It was freezing cold so I hurried back in thinking to hell with him. They looked at me closing the door and asked was he not coming in.I said he's not there.They said what do you mean he's not there, where is he? I told them I didn't know where he'd gone to but he wasn't there and I wasn't standing outside in the cold looking for him.We were puzzled but just went back to our chatting at the table. Approx about half an hour later the exact same thing happened.The dog was up barking and going mad just as before, I could see him there struggling with the gate again, As I went down the path again I stopped and looked at him I said " here Iv'e just done all this before about half an hour ago. He was still standing on the ledge.He didn't know what I was talking about.You were here I said, at the gate trying to get in the same as you are now, you were wearing your exact same clothes and hat and and then you disappeared. He just looked bemused and said he'd just come now, what was I talking about.My sisters know it happened, I know it happened.Your guess is as good as mine.

Some years back, I was driving from Penrith towards Keswick with my now late father in law. As we drove along the dual carriageway, on a long straight section, he did the mirror, signal, manoeuvre routine, and drifted back in again. Puzzled, I said " Why did you move out like that Syd?" He replied sarcastically, " because I couldn't drive straight through them". Through who, I asked. That horse and cart he said, gesturing over his shoulder. Stunned, I asked what horse and cart. He looked in the rearview, jammed on the brakes, cranes round and then went white as a sheet.
There was no side turn off anywhere near, and I never saw a thing.
To the day he died, he refused to discuss anything about it. Time slip??

Fascinating... I'd would have loved to have seen the Roman Soldiers but could they have seen the strangers - I would not like to have to explain to a modern doctor how I got a gladius stuck in my chest!
