2 TIME SLIP STORIES | Can You Explain These Strange Cases?

The following timeslip event happened to William John Morris from Pontyclun in South Wales possibly in the late 1970’s or 80’s. At the time of the incident William Morris was a civilian driver in the motor transport section of R.A.F. St. Athan in the Vale of Glamorgan in the south east of Wales. William said that the type of work he did would often keep him on the road for weeks at a time, so he would regularly stay overnight at a bed and breakfast.

My parents owned and ran a barber shop and tobacconists back in the 60s. One morning a postman delivered a fairly large parcel that they were expecting. It contained cigarette lighters, pipes and other sundries like lighter fluid. As they were very busy my mother told my father that she would unpack it after closing time. Come closing time the parcel was nowhere to be found. They searched high and low. They thought it must have been stolen and vowed to phone the police the next day. Early the next day, before they had chance to inform the police the postman arrived with a parcel. It was the same parcel my parents had received the day before. Never have been able to explain it. Doth parents witnessed the first delivery. Definitely not a dream.

I live on the outskirts of London and one day when my mum was resting on a sofa which was facing towards a window…. she said that she could see a man dressed in old fashioned clothes…..on a horse and cart in front of my house……apparently where I live used to be farm land a few hundred years ago…. my mum was a very spiritual person… 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸

As a young serviceman who wasn't long in the RAF I was stationed at RAF St Athan Nr Barry in 1970. Coincidentally, I had enlisted from Cheltenham, Glos. So my Fiance and parents still lived there. I used to travel from St Athans to Cheltenham every weekend. Thus this story captured my imagination. I am now 70 and I've had several really strange things happen to me in life. So I can thoroughly relate to this story with captivation. Anyone else remember the old Steam Loco Graveyard on that run. Keep up the great work as I love your stuff.

I love a time slip story, these two are new to me.

I’m my own experience not a time slip story as such but when I left school I applied for a job at a local print factory, I remember sitting in the reception area on the day of the interview with a group of boys my age all looking nervous in our newly purchased suits and gelled hairstyles.
I never passed the interview or got a job offer on that attempt but fast forward 20 years later and I was successful and started working there as a Maintenance Fitter, this meant I had access to most areas of the site.
In the intervening 20 years the site had expanded and tripled in size with new, modern factory units and an administration block where I was interviewed.
The older buildings were used as stores and machinery graveyards but still needed care and maintenance which I was responsible for. One day I was assigned to go around and inspect the fire sprinkler system and whilst doing my rounds in one of the old factories I came across a door behind some old mothballed machinery which I’d never noticed before.
I forced the door which hadn’t been opened in a long time and walked into the reception area I’d nervously sat in 20 years earlier looking exactly the same! The 1960’s style wooden panelling on the walls, the uncomfortable metal chairs we had sat on, the old reception desk and heavy wooden front door now hidden behind modern sheet metal cladding on the outside of the building.
It sent the hairs on the back of my neck tingling, such an eerie but also nostalgic experience!
In the time I worked there I revisited that time capsule and I never failed to give me that odd tingle you get but can’t quite explain, like meeting ghosts of the past

Time slip stories are eerily fascinating. There's no easy way to prove or debunk them at all.

The first one was particularly eerie as the man interacted with the elderly woman. Was she the original owner who died there and was reinacting her life and this man somehow entered her time? Goosebumps 😮

Time slips are fascinating and they make me wonder, how many people weren't able to make it back? Imagine getting stuck and finding your spouse as a baby.

This was truly creepy. I have often wished I could go back in time for a visit but if no one is around, then what? Also, if people are around what do you do for money when either your bank doesn't exist or it has no records of your account? Your credit cards are worthless plastic, you have no home and no one you know is around to help you.

I'm not sure what it was, but some years ago I was on a beach looking out to sea. I saw two sail rigged warships firing cannon at one another a distance from the shore, didn't hear any reports from the cannon, but could see the puffs of smoke. I thought to myself that someone was filming a TV show or movie, and looked to see if anyone else was watching. I saw no one on the beach! I kept watching the ships, I couldn't see any damage, just them sailing around and exchanging fire. Then, I blinked or was distracted, and the ships were gone an people back on the beach in their bathing costumes... everyone was just going about their business, no one was looking out to sea. It was really bizarre. I checked local news at the time and years later, when the internet was invented, I started investigating a but never found anything.

I sometimes wonder if these things are a false memory our minds create while we sleep...dreams can seem so real. Of course, the thing is in these other stories they had some kind of evidence - like local knowledge knowing a gas station existed, for example...something a dream wouldn't know!

I also wonder how many people have possibly experienced these and weren’t even aware that they had. If you were going only one way and had never been there before, you may just think the towns just made to look like it would. Love these stories! Although I cannot say I’d have enjoyed the first one.

Ah, as soon as it began I thought how most of these are usually pre-experienced by a storm, heavy fog, or some other weather anomaly. The second story has that indicator.

It happened to me and a friend of mine years ago. We were driving together on a road and it was empty, which was strange since it was a main road of s small town in the middle of the day. All of a sudden we found ourselves in the late 50s / early 60s. It was really bizarre but we kept on going, don’t know how long and back to current time. I believe we went back in time and relived an experience. Really weird feeling

I'm about 5 miles away from Pont-y-clun where the first time slip incident in this video accrued my mum and her boyfriend back in 2008 also had a time slip incident in the same area they were driving down a road and decided to take a short cut down a very narrow road in the area as they did they encountered what they said was a large village full of people going about's there business but appeared to be around 1700's they drove through the village and just could not believe there eyes they did go back a few days later and couldn't find the village again, maybe there is something in the local area that is still active to this day and is still allowing people to experience time slips.

A small connection. My mother was evacuated to Stroud during the war and told me quite a few spooky stories of her time there. Fast forward to 1981 when I did my driver at St Athan (pronounced Saint Ath…..an).

Usually during time slips the weather remains still and you feel tired and quite uneasy...as if time came to a total stand still and the people you may encounter show odd behaviour perhaps cause you are the weird oddity for them since your not of that era..
