when i was in elementary school, i had a bad habit of avoiding eye contact when a teacher was talking to me. the teacher told me not making eye contact when someone is speaking to you is disrespectful. ever since then, i made eye contact with everyone. this stuck with me throughout my entire life (i’m now 24). i sometimes still struggle to make eye contact, so i remember what she told me and force myself to look people in the eye.

Rest of story: I never admitted it to her - just reassured her that I was fine - but it did stick with me and I was much less of a d*ck to teachers after that.

my 2 head teache, one from grade 6 to 9 and one fron 10 12 was hated by many students in my class. they have same personality, they hate some jokes but some laugh at it, to me they are so kind and a good teacher. always remind us to do our best. yet some hated them and usually pronounce her like witch in my country language. i felt sad for her for getting called like that

I got in trouble in elementary school because even though my eyes were looking at the person, it wasn’t at their eyes. I watch peoples mouths. I had an undiagnosed hearing loss. I still lip read.

Let’s see I think the one that really affected me was my freshman year ffa teacher. The class was bullying me because the principal found out they weren’t wearing their masks in the classroom (2021) and they all decided I told him about it because I wore my mask. So they were all telling me to kms. And that the world would be better if I was gone. And I sat in the back mostly away from those kids. Then I’m like looking at the teacher like yo wtf you gon do something about this?? And she looks at me and goes “yeah you should” after some kid said kys. That was probably one of the hardest days of my life at that point. And I literally didn’t say shit. They all just assumed it was me who said something and were all mad about it. And on top of all that I told everyone about the bullying and nobody cared. My other teachers? Nothing. My parents? Nothing. The counselors? Nothing. The in campus police officer? Nothing. Nobody cared that I was being told this every single day. That summer I had told my what I thought at the time friends I was moving schools they spread my phone number to everyone. So then I was getting threats through text. Blocked so many numbers but they’d always find someone else’s phone and send more. It was so bad I had to literally change my phone number. No amount of blocking and ignoring dulled this absolute hatred they had for something I never did.

My shop teacher said when I became an engineer and designed something as stupid as our upstairs landing area (had an ac unit blocking half of it) he’d come and kick my ass.

Shortly after my friend took his life moat of the school staff were cold and forbid ne from talking about mikeys death. only one teacher sat me down after his class and told me he has felt the same kind of pain and lost his friend too when he was in school and was in a simular case of being alone. He let me vent and talk about how i felt, how i blamed myself, and that alot of dark thoughts started to return to me.
First time i have ever saw him tear up and he was always the happy smiling type of teacher. Now i understand why

One of my strict teachers, the most dont see it but she is really nice, thats why one of the strictes teachers is my Favorit teacher. But an other strict teacher, I can understand why this one is hated even by me. She bullied her students and where I live there aren't many teachers so they can't fire her
