Amazing camera, simply brilliant.
Way more suitable and reliable for professional video work than the a7siii, hands down. Makes more sense in every aspect.

Every camera is a hybrid camera but only a few are more dedicated for video. This is one of them. I’m a Canon guy but I think I’ll be getting this camera for more professional video.

I need to decide if the evf is going to be missed more than the handle and tally lights. If you could have one which would you go for?

I think would take stills from time to time but maybe 5% of the time mostly for bts and audio i do have rode wireless go 2 and an h4n pro.

Everything in me says a7siii makes more sense but my heart says fx3

Yes, yes we all get that it’s based on the A7S3. No big deal there, except it’s Cine 1-4 gamma profile & some other cosmetic changes. But what no one is talking about is - that this camera is their flagship intro into what’s coming next - Sony’s AIRPEAK drone. Their drone will accomodate the form factor & size of the FX3, thus putting all it’s other competitors out of the market. Mounting an FX3 to a Sony designed drone. It’s going to be a game changer. So think big, think forwards & stop the small talk over the A7S3. It’s called progress.
