I'm pretty fascinated with film making, so any well composed scene/screenshot from a movie or tv show gets me inspired

I would love to see you do a more dark and scary deep ocean painting for this underwater series of yours. That would be fantastic! I live in Ohio in the U.S. so our weather is crazy and unpredictable. It'll be sunny and tshirt weather and then the next day we'll get 4 inches of snow... but I oddly find that inspiring because it's constantly a new scenery. =)

You inspire me, like every other artist. Or sometimes a really nice song or scrolling through Instagram and Pinterest, it just makes me want to create something, it doesn't have to be a drawing either. Thanks for making this video! Love the whale :)

Personally, things like the smell of coffee or rain make me want to draw. Just smells and sights that make me feel calm make me want to draw something.

Scrolling through Pinterest definitely inspires me. The art and photography people share is so thought-provoking and motivating, I love it. Though it's hard not to sometimes compare my art to theirs, I try not to let myself sink into that hole for too long. I was in what I call a black hole of creativity for a while...I was absorbing all the inspiration and such, but nothing was coming out from my own mind. Thankfully I was able to shake that depressing feeling and I'm working on a new project. Also, I listen to themed music while I draw. I pick the genre depending on what I'm inspired by. My default music of choice is dubstep/chillstep (just really relaxing, even if there are fast beats it helps me block out distracting things).

For some reason, hearing birds chirp and/or just seeing them fly around or just, seeing a bird or two makes me want to create something

thunder, rain and cold inspire me (I know, I am weird) but now it is really hot and sunny so i am not that inspired anymore but I can always imagine the sound of rain :)

Wow, the blank page inspires you? You definitely get triggered positively with inspiration easier than others. That's so awesome! I have similar feelings toward the blank page, but then I quickly begin to psyche myself out and inspiration twists into fear.

Artists are fickle creatures,  no? xD

What inspires me is colors. When I see certain groups of colors either outside in nature or on another created piece, I get that tingly feeling that I have to do something with those colors myself.

By the way, I never knew a hair dryer could easily remove tape from a painting. #themoreyouknow

Your videos actually inspire me to draw and to develop my books and my comic. Like you said, seeing other artist's stuff, but to me, watching it happen and hearing a voice with it is inspirational. Don't know why, but it is.

I love the look of watercolor the transparency of it is beautiful and the brushstrokes of water color looks just so soft I really like watching people pain with watercolor

Also a thing that gets me inspired is my lamp (sounds weird I know) it's a lamp which can change color and intensity of the light. When I don't know what to do I play around with it and if I find an interesting color I want to draw under, I'm more motivated! colors and color palettes in general are a huge inspiration for me

What inspires me a lot is visiting the artist alleys of conventions. Meeting awesome artists, seeing them drawing live, chatting with them and potentially gather some new tips and techniques they use to draw. Looking at (and buying) art supplies you can't get in your local art store....
Yeah, I always find myself so inspired at the end of a convention day, that I want and need to draw something no matter how tired I am.
