Accelerates like your first car in Need For Speed.

There’s something nice about watching these POV videos when they’re driving affordable daily drivers, compared to driving luxurious vehicles that select people would daily drive.

Im sure everyone here who once had a civic around this year is feeling super nostalgic. As soon as I heard the start up without a loud exhaust and saw the clean original interior I was so happy. I miss my 96 Civic DX hatch

Shifting gears on a Honda at 5000 rpm is sacrilege. 😂✌️

And you didn't even manage to see that whole 90hp.. 😅

I had the 1996 1.6 vti, 0-60 mph about 7.5 secs somewhere around 160 bhp,
8, 000 rpm, and late 40s to the gallon on a run, wonderful engine, brilliant car.
The granddaddy to the type R, wish I still had it.

Awesome ride quality. 97' and it is more quiet than a lot of new cars.

The last civic that people recognize worldwide

It's not a diesel you need to give it all the revs it can take, in hondas peak power comes at like 400rpm before limiter 🤣

I was expecting to see more redline shifting, still a good video!

In my opinion, the old cars were better than some of the current ones!! Great job!

Thanks so much for posting this! I bought my '97 Civic new, paid it off 6 days before 9/11, and about 400, 000 miles later (640, 000 km), still loving it!

I would just love one of these. I'd keep it completely stock and drive it for 200k miles. If I get in an accident, I don't need to worry about losing tens of thousands of dollars. I won't be making car payments for 8 years. I don't need to worry about people denting and scratching my car nearly as much as I would in a 2010+ model car. This car can be described in three words: simple, affordable, and reliable.

This was my first car in 1999, great memories. You really had to rev it, but that was quite fun.

1994 Honda accord 5 speed I bought for $1500 dollars in Absolute best car Ive ever had and the most fun to drive. Drivng down the road, going through an intersection, green light, 35 mph.... T boned by some girl on her phone, Completely totaled my car. I miss it so much :(

I have recently acquired exactly such a car - same paint, same interior. Even the same dummy plug next to the regulation of the light heights in the center tunnel is missing :D only difference is that mine has A/C, but whatever. It's a delight to drive, I consider it a lovely example of Japanese engineering of the 80's and 90's that was done for the masses. It's great to see that there are still many people that are fond of such simple everyday cars, because truly they are still just perfect for daily use, if you're not after all the latest gimmicks, but just driving.

I think Joe loves the moments in which he drives fast. (We like it too) :D

niesamowite, że skrzynia w civicu 1.4 jest dłuższa niż w moim accordzie 2.0 z 2000 roku.
