The Monotron Delay is particularly good as an effect — I used it for years to filter and add reverb/echo to the tiny toy synthesizers I was building.

You know what you should get? A harpejji. It looks like a fusion of an autoharp/zither and a Chinese guzheng, and it plays like a piano but sounds like an electric guitar. Seriously, the tone is STUNNING. Unfortunately it’s not cheap at all so I’d recommend trying to find a used one, but if you can get your hands on one I think you’d really enjoy creating music on it. I’d love to get one myself one day 😌
