Trains at York | 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 ECML (16/10/23)

Welcome back to York ECML!
This is a major junction on the ECML and the Transpennine Route! We see services from LNER, Grand Central, Northern, Lumo and Cross Country. We also see some special services in this video, including a railhead treatment train formed with dual 37s.
As well in this video, we see 800106 “You Belong”, a TPE Class 68 and also a Sumo Class 803. There was meant to be an Intercity 225 LNER service featured, however it got stuck at Retford and I wasn’t able to film it.

I recommend anyone who loves trains to visit York. Not only is it a fantastic station on a fantastic line, there is also the NRM across the road with a huge selection of heritage stock including Mallard and Flying Scotsman (yes I saw it in the yard outside today).
