As a born and raised New Yorker, I’ve learned over the years that if people need to be somewhere at a certain time, most of them only leave their houses with just enough time to get there on time, instead of leaving earlier so they don’t have to rush. It’s better to have time to spare than barely any time at all.

I was a Conductor for the MTA(1983-2013). I pulled into 34st with a 'B' train, doesn't go to Church Ave. Lady grabs the door and screams "Do you go to Church?!"
I answered "No, I'm Jewish, leggo of the doors!!!"

Bro- I remember I was waiting for the J at Fulton St. that mf time board said 5mins for 45 mins. An hour after that, they finally changed it to ‘Delay’ 🤬 Ended up taking a $60 Uber home 😩😭
