It happens girl. I am in a huge slump with hitting right now and I know how it feels

It’s ok! It happens! I haven’t been able to play softball in almost 2 months because I first had a severe shoulder tear in my pitching arm, then I had to have surgery done on my stomach. I’m sure I’ll be in a hitting slump when I get back out! Just keep pushing through no matter what!

Same but it's like I know I can do better and in practice I do well but in game I suck.

i was just in a slump but just got out the other day, keep pushing! i know how it feels. i had just gotten a new 300 dollar bat too and wasn’t hitting anything so it felt like a waist of money until i FINALLY got a hit.

It’s all good hey In spring season I hit 5 home runs but now I’m in a slump too you will be better then no time just believing in your self and everything will be better

I was in a hitting slump during all stars, and I even cried once I struck out (I was 1st in lineup so I would be the first out) because I thought I had failed the whole team and people were disappointed in me but I got out of it during the elimination game and we won and advanced . I was so happy and I also threw a no hitter so that was amazing too 🙈

We’ve all been there, your batting form is great your head is just coming out before the ball. Watching the ball all the way until contact and keeping your chin tucked in after may help!

I was in a slump as well! My first year playing I got beat up by the ball every game by every pitcher(not on purpose obvi) but then my second year playing I was freaked out by the ball and could barely hit, and as I kept practicing and and training hard and by my third year(this year) I’ve been hitting better then ever in 12u and got my first double! Im even hitting off an A team pitcher, but that’s because I practiced and worked hard! Now I love softball even more than I did before! Hope this inspired you to try harder!❤

Well, if you’re busy looking at third base when you finish your swing, I would throw you an outside corner change after two strike EVERY time. A truly UNDISCIPLINED hitter.

I was just in one like a week ago!!
I hit so opposite handed and that helped.
For example: I’m a righty so I did I couple lefty of a tee then went back and it helped get back in my swing a lot more.

I can’t tell you how many times I cried because of striking out the entire game. It happens to everyone and even professional softball players go in hitting slumps.
