I don't know about y'all but seeing my PS4 randomly jump into safe mode after turning it on is really ominous, like it gives me chills. Just a silent, black screen with simple text.

This all happened because of my dumbass step brother. He unplugged the PS4 while it was on and now this happened.

It just turns off then it goes to the usb storage screen

Unplug power cord for 20 mins no less . It fixed mine. I tried every safe mode option and nothing. I even wiped it clean. Thankfully I had all my data backed up to ps plus.

My ps4 froze when I started a game and it wouldn’t turn off so I unplugged it and I got in the safe mode loop. I just kept unplugging it and plugging it back in and it eventually worked. Idk how lol

LOL I've been having this safe mode loop for nearly a year now... Every single time I need to restart it because all of the options wouldn't work no matter what. 😢

This happened to my system a while back I was gunna leave it alone until I could figure out how to fix it. But my older brother just ignored me hopped on and deleted my data and games to get passed the loop. And at the time I was playing a lot of story mode games

I wish I saw this a couple of years ago when I had to reset everything in order to access my ps4. A lot of memories down the drain unfortunately

Thank you so much!! I've been losing sanity for a week, lol. Read every other option and a psn agent was trying to help. I wish I did the step 6 a long time ago, but no one ever mentioned it before now.
