Greetings from Germany! Just a note - it´s not U.L.M., it´s Ulm as a word. Ulm is a german city and not an acronym. Keep up the good work.

Nice video but very strange that you mentioned twice that the movement hacks. I thought the first time was just a Freudian slip. I have this movement; it does not hack.

Hey Teddy. In the narration you say it hacks, but when you pulled out the crown the seconds hand was still running.

Bought this today at the Laco factory store. Second last example in stock! Got a tour of the factory and a Laco cap as a momento. Great little company. Absolutely beautiful watch for my 7 1/4 inch wrist

What a great looking watch! 😍
It’s simple, elegant, legible and I love the integration of that small seconds sub-dial.
It seems to be a type of watch that I’d wear every single day.
Thanks for sharing! Great find.

For pronunciation, it’s not an acronym. Laco name their watches after cities in Germany. Ulm is one of those cities.

This watch reminds me of the Fortis 901.20.41 LP.10. Speaking of fliegers, I usually prefer model B over model A ones. However, I like very much this small seconds layout in the model A design, so I would buy one over an original model A. It looks very elegant that I think it could be used also in a more formal ocassion.

The watch does not hack. That's an old pocket watch movement.

The best looking Flieger "in Ulm, um Ulm und um Ulm herum!" (German tongue-twister)! 😉

Beautiful mix of brushed and polished surfaces and - first of all - a very beautiful design for that diamond-style (not onion!) crown.
Sad that they didn't go for a 40 mm size, which is possible with that movement.

Great video - as always 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Ulm is a city in Germany. All of Laco's models are named after German cities. Not sure how you would have thought they'd suddenly start giving their watches random acronyms like U L M...

Ulm are not separete letters, is a city name. Not U-L-M but Ulm

I think title description is wrong as this is a Wurzburg 42.5mm with 6498 movement, as Ulm is a 39mm with sellita SW261 movement, I believe both don't hack either.

Lovely. Very lovely. Case looks very well done with that thin polished line, and the movements fkin beautiful.

Please also do a video for the Wulzburg, and show us what it looks like on your 6.5 inch wrist.

Always so interesting and thoughtful. I prefer... the creamy desktop to the salmon pink colour.

Very nice watch. I wonder whether this hand wound movement (and the ETA 7001) have the same issue than ETA 2824 with the ratchet wheel losing teething if manually wound frequently ?

How do Laco and Stowa compare in case of quality and value? And other flieger brand / models?
