My mum made a special mix that killed every lice when I was in school and never got them again. She used tea tree oil, eucalyptus oil and lavender oil and she put it in the hair conditioner so when in the shower u can comb and kill them in the shower and then u spray it in your hair when done to prevent them from attacking again.

I never heard of going to specific place to get rid of lice. Where I come from we use lice combs and hair oil to get rid of them, max it takes an hour and oil actually makes your healthy.

I once discovered that I had lice, while at my aunt's. So she emptied a bottle of conditioner in my hair, wrapped a towel around it and in the evening the lice were all dead

Pretty sure tea tree oil helps with lice. It’s what my mom did with me. She’d wet the comb in the oil and then go through my hair and then she’d wash it with tea tree oil shampoo. I’m not sure what about it that’s effective against lice but it worked.

Ugh! I remember when I got lice from going to summer school. It was hard for me to kill those bastards. My parents tried washing my hair, doing the hair comb thingy and finally using lice shampoo three or four times. To make matters worse, I had to cut my hair.

The comments section full of anti lice remedies. I wish this comment section existed while I was 10. Nothing really worked for me. But they somehow disappeared as I grew into twin. Maybe because I learnt to take care of my hygiene better. But it was so embarrassing and annoying 😣

When I got lice my mum basically soaked my hair with vinegar and combed it with the special lice hair comb it worked quite well actually but man did it smell bad

According to The Office, mayonnaise works the same as syrup but it doesn’t ruin your hair

When I wound up getting lice I just used heavy conditioner three times a week and then kept my head underwater for 10 minutes with my face exposed.

I’m so confused why they just didn’t treat the lice traditionally. There are literal anti-lice solutions you can buy.

They make a shampoo that has Sevin in it, if the maple syrup makes them scream I bet that'd REALLY do it lol
