Great video ! I’m a central Florida native and I get cold easily. I bought some off grid Property in North Florida in 09 and 09 Ana 2010 we had 2 I think record setting cold winter In a row and all I had those 2 years to sleep in, was a tent and a couple blankets. I remember sleeping in there with my body pretty much directly on the ground with it getting into the low teens . Man I froze and my body and joints were killing me !

Never thought of the hobo bed deal. Makes perfect sense. Thanks for that idea

On a side note, its also a great idea to put your camo, in a bag of dry leaves a couple days before hunting season.

It's also a floatation device if you blow it up.

Great tip! A couple large heavy duty trash bags saved my life many years ago. You can make a poncho that'll keep your trunk and thighs dry in an emergency situation. Hypothermia can quickly turn a bad situation into life-threatening.

I love these shorts! Great idea and you can do the same to make a pillow. Maybe take a large trash bag, cut it in half and make 2 pillows just tying the ends.. empty and reuse? Hopefully without fire ants here in TX..

Ollie's has 3mil at a good price. They are 42g size at Ollie's. Lowe's carries a drum liner, though I don't think they are as thick.

Yes sir!!! I carry them in my get home kit and part of my shelter setup if needed. Trash bags, zip ties, and duct tape must have items in every kit.👍🏼👊🏼💯

Good stuff, but it's better to use a industrial trash bag preferably a 44gal. I've used them in rain, slet, and snow. Yeah, they take a little extra space but last and worth it. 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
