Excellent! I taught ski mountaineering and avalanche rescue, equipment and ski proficiency for the Squaw Valley Ski Patrol. They toss about 50 lbs of dynamite for every six inches of snow that falls for avalanche control. Sometimes it snows several feet.
After finishing Advanced Mountaineering I asked our instructor why he quit climbing he said all his friends had died. A friend of ours who had climbed Anapurna, fell and died climbing in the San Bernardino Mountains. It is the most dangerous sport. Then our climbing instructor said, "Congratulations! You're the first advanced class to do it in winter conditions!".
I never heard anyone talk about doing this. And we are all EMTS.
