This may work but I wonder how products are unloaded at each stop.

As this technology improves I think it's time for us to start addressing the human role in labor, and how this emerging technology, will impact people's ability to earn a living.

We should also ask the question, if automation & autonomous technology is capable of doing the work, do we truly need to continue long standing concepts, such as the need for people to earn money.

If we don't answer these questions and allow this impossible dual system to exist we're human labor is fighting against robotic labor there's going to be a lot of difficulty in future.

When this solution is to allow the machines to do the work and we simply reap the benefits, our role should become one of ideas to improve upon the system. To better ourselves and our world without the limitations, greed, and monetary concerns.

Makes sense...still offering a profitable service while lowering risk since aren't transferring actual people....as Hannah Montana used to sing ...."you got the best of both worlds" please don't hate me :P

Hm, interesting, but we'll have to have more data to see how effective it is

this video is intentionally misleading.
self driving cars are still only driving on secured test tracks or with 2 drivers in them for emergencies and obvious legal reasons, and are still very far from being able and allowed on public roads.

this video shows the fat belly of a driver in the driving seat, not holding the steering wheel for 3 seconds. woohoo.
