The governments around the world need to strongly reconsider the taxation on employment as a source of revenue.

I saw one of these on the road the other day and the next thing I know there was a robot voice on the CB calling me the n-word. It’s amazing to see how far the technology has come.

This is something that no human being should be okay with. Truck controlled by a computer is so unwise a computer can malfunction, have a glitch ect. Believe me these big machines aren’t any joke. What can be done if an another automobile suddenly loose control what a computer driven big truck can reacted fast enough. It’s so amazing how people want to save money for themselves they rather put people out of work all for the mighty buck. Replacing man for a computer

What happens when you get a bunch of angry people who lost their job as a truck driver to an automated truck? You get a whole lot of tire punctures at red lights

As a truck driver, I hope this experiment fails miserably

Oh, my. I was not born in America - naturalized citizen - but even I know that truckers are like a piece of American culture. Is it going away?

Scaring away potential drivers with investor scams is going to hurt the trucking industry in the long run.

The very first time someone is hurt by one of these contraptions is going to be very interesting

Can it open the trailer doors? Back into the dock? Unhook the trailer and hook up another trailer? NO

Once there are enough massive accidents involving auto-drive semis, they'll re-think this.

Today the automated check out lanes went on strike at a Walmart were I was at for more money or whatever. It was a madhouse and nobody knew what to do.

I respond to truck crashes for a living. 75% of the accidents i respond to are foreign born drivers with little truck driving experience.

The trucking companies already put safety last, its jist an insurance issue for them.

I have little doubt a robot will do better than a guy from india doing 80 mph trying to make his 40 cents a mile pay a living wage.

Biden said 3-5 years truckers won't have a job. It's really going to happen, I'm just enjoying last couple years before ai takes over
