I have never seen scratches that deep on a murderer's face before. She didn't just scrape his face, she removed flesh. She was fighting for all she had. Mt heart breaks knowing innocent victims have to watch themselves be murdered by someone who is supposed to cherish them. The pain of the betrayal. The theft of a human's life.

I personally agree with her sister, and he killed her definitely.

Did AI write this narrative? It was sort of weird for me, hearing them narrate exactly what the interviewees would say a moment later!

This is a strange "happy ending" for the murderer in a true-crime documentary.

Scratches on someone's face after a crime are never what they say they are. 🤷‍♀️

You never know what a jury will do, but in this case IMO they got it wrong. *Everything pointed to the husband...from the scratches on the face...the lying...the disconnecting the dryer...to her being deceased before the fire!* She's gone _forever_ and he's back to living his life like nothing happened...new wife, new life! I wish her luck...stupid is as stupid does!

Love these vids but would recommend not repeating the words spoken in the interviews!

I think he did it and would have voted as such. The scratches on the face and the changing story of their origin pushes me over the “beyond a reasonable doubt.”

this was the best defense i’ve ever seen. for every assertion of the prosecution there was a believable argument brought forth by the defense. it was an amazing equally matched ping-pong-like performance. if not for the arson charge i highly doubt that this man would have done any time.

He is guilty and ONCE AGAIN, the justice system is massively failing society! Jail for life or bye bye!

He could have divorced her rather than kill her.

Def., she was not alive anymore when the fire started, therefore that proves he had done something to her, the pants with blood was a little proof, I mean, why would he wear specifically those pants? So silly!

Cases like this are why my wife always jokes that if she ever dies in a freak accident then I'm going to jail.
Gas dryers are extremely dangerous. Our old one had a pilot that was exposed from the bottom and if something flammable like a fuzzy sock slipped under the right front edge it would burst into flame.
Kitty litter is the absolute best way to clean up chemical spills and in particular the thick chemicals like motor oil or laundry detergent.
If the kitty litter spread out under the dryer then caught the dryer on fire it could easily pop the gas line since the steel dryer line would expand faster then the galvanized gas main.
The gas leak would instantly create an inferno. If someone disconnected the gas line then started a fire there then there would've been two bodies.
Most of the smoke in a house fire comes from personal belongings with fabric and plastic being the worst. Bare house frame burns insanely fast and rather cleanly. The poor woman could have died from heat and burns before the smoke hit her. Also, just because someone keeps a gun in the house doesn't make it a murder.
He seemed rather unlikeable in court but an arrogant prick that jokes about a chess match could also just be an innocent jerk who knows he didn't do it and still has some misguided faith in our legal system.
Then, of course, there are the scratches. They probably did come from a tool, branches, or both because there's no possible way she made them that deep and clean. In none of the pictures that I've seen in the half dozen or so shows that covered this case does she have fingernails. She wouldn't have fingernails because they're a liability to manual labor and horse riding.
Just some ideas. Fire acts in strange and crazy ways like something from final destination movies. Also, we should all learn from the fable of the three little builders and the big bad weather. Use bricks not sticks, its better for fire too.

I live in the Portland Metro area in Washington County, in Oregon. This is is the third story in 2 days, I’ve watched murder videos that occurred in Oregon. We’re really not like this, guys 😮.
