I like how this man tries to answer everyone's questions! I definitely learn a lot from him just in the comments section.

Well put together.. informative.. and I like that you show the whole tree.. i wish you had a bit of video showing a full grown version.. so it would be easier to know what to expect from this variety in the future. Most videos on fruit trees neglect this aspect of the tree and it makes it more difficult to know how to plant and where how much spacing to have ect. Compared to other videos on this subject though... your video is superb.

Hi, thank you for making the videos. Very cool. I want to plant one apple, looking at golden delicious and Anna right now since I only want to plant one apple tree, I like sweet apples. Which one do you recommend? Can Anna fruit on its own? Is it sweet apple? I watched all your apple videos, you said golden Dorsett is more tart, so that’s out. I live in Marana dove mountain AZ. Any input would be much appreciated.

Loved the Video, nice apple crop !!!.
Hopeful my apple tree will be able to grown like that, but there are a lot of hard work need to be done for beginner. I’ve just bought young apple tree- an Anna and a Golden Dorset 2 months ago. Tree is 1.5-1.6 meter high with 3 branches each of them. the leaves are fully. These stuff sound hard, because it’s getting worse since I transplanted it into backyard. The leaves’ve became yellow-brown and curled and dried up like it were burned by fire, then gone. Now only a few pieces of leave on the top you can see, What’s problem? Luckily, I found your video, please advise me any idea, Thank you so much.👍👍👍

I'm interested in getting a couple apple trees for my property. We live in Tucson. I can't seem to find if they need partial shade in this harsh climate or if they'll be okay in full sun.

We're looking at getting two trees -- the tropical Sweet and an Anna to pollinate the tropical Sweet. Are there any others that will pollinate the tropical Sweet? Apples that won't be mealy?

Thanks!

If I heard you right, you said Anna was south Korean in origin. Google says it is from Israel. Can you speak more about it origin from South Korea.
wiki:
History

Anna was bred by Abba Stein at the Ein Shemer kibbutz in Israel, in order to achieve a Golden Delicious-like apple, that can be cultivated in nearly tropical areas. A regular apple needs between 500 - 1000 hours of chilling[2] (aka chill units[3]) in order to get in blossom, but Anna flourishes even with less than 300 hours, so it can be grown in warm climates.[1] It is recommended for USDA hardiness zones 5–9, [4] or rather 6–9.[5]

Please help. In Tucson, Az and the javelines knocked over my anna apple tree. It was due to be planted the next day. Its over 6 ft tall and the animals broke off the main steam approximately 4 ft (2ft from the base). Leaves and branches are sprouting and I hate to lose it. Any advise? Also I see you paint your trunks white? Why?

Great video as always. Have you tried growing any of the Pink Lady Apples, and if so did you like them? I got two from Walmart on clearance last year for 7 bucks each and even tho they didn't set any fruit this year they are some of my most aggressive growers.

I just found your page this evening. I just purchased this house and we have a lime tree (very huge) 30 ft wide by 18 ft tall. It has at least 5k pieces of fruit. We used about 6 limes earlier but now they look like oranges. Its full of orange colored fruit. When you taste it- its a lime. Ever hear of such a thing? I dont know what to do with this tree.

I don’t like mealy apples either. I have one anna apple. Do I need another to pollinate it? I wasn’t sure after watching the video. I think I want to get the golden dorsett because my anna is so scraggly!
