Question: have you demo'd any of the Equaliser vst's from Acustica Audio?
In my opinion, they sound better than anything else in the box (they use a convolution approach)
Id love to know if any give your hardware a run for their money

It will never be the same but for ITB plugins I would recommend. Elysia Alpha Compressor and Knif Soma both by Bx and sound fantastic. Of course there's always Ozone as well.

Streaky can you do a video of how you use the Weiss DS-1 MK3 plugin. I know you used to have the real deal at metropolis and have spoken highly about It. I use digital speaker now after analog. I can say, it's more precise as crossovers are digital but at the same time sound is more lifeless and sterile. So I would stay with analog for playback/soundcheck and digital for production or all analog...:)

When you use fab filter MB or C2 compressors do you ever link stereo or leaving it unlinked most of the time. Or do you compress only mono or only stereo sometimes?

PreSonus Studio One has built in mastering software that as good as any separate mastering software.

RME interfaces have all of the routing flexibility and presets that you'd need. You can even add a USB controller to control any of the parameters in it. That's what I use as a monitor controller. My 5.1 monitoring is fully digital meaning that the only analog audio in my studio is after the crossovers. Of course that makes things a lot more expensive since I need 6 channels of DAC and amps for my main 3-way stereo speakers. I have the same flexibility as using a mastering console but it's all done digitally so no degradation.
