Drone footage shows devastation from deadly Mississippi tornado

Footage shows the aftermath of a deadly tornado that left at least 25 people dead and dozens injured after it tore through the US state on 24 March.

Four people are missing, the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency said on Saturday in its latest update on Twitter. 'Multiple state agencies and partners are working together to help in the response and recovery efforts,' it said.

The agency warned of severe storms for counties across rural Mississippi on the evening of 26 March and expected damaging gusts of wind.

At some point you would think that they would stop using balloon framing (mainly wood) as a construction method, instead using brick & mortar in places where there are extremes in weather patterns.

When I came here in the States I couldn’t believe they only make houses out of wood. I was thinking all cement or bricks because this is a first world country. Prayers to all that affected.
