Please help me to understand this. I have traced my genealogy WAY BACK. Believe it or not, if this is correct, I am related to Jeroboam. I also have Benjamin and Judah in my family line. The northern kingdom’s king was Jeroboam. My family line got “mixed” in Europe and I came out of Christianity when the Ruach showed me the truth of Torah. I have both “houses” of Israel in my family line, and Ezekiel 37 (the 2 sticks) says that Israel and Judah will become one again and brought back into the land of our inheritance when Yeshua is King over the earth.
I’m REALLY TRYING to learn why we must “convert” to Judaism. Or to become a Jew, when I have ancestry from Israel and Judah. The 12 tribes of Israel will be placed over the gates of the New Jerusalem, so not all of the tribes will enter the “Judah” gate. I believe that Israel and Judah are one in Messiah Yeshua.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your teachings and listen every Shabbat to the live services! I have learned so much truth from you. I am just trying desperately to figure out why we have to convert to be a Jew, and I mean that sincerely!!! Salvation is to the Jew first, and yes, He is the King of the Jews, but He also said, “I came ONLY for the lost sheep of the House of Israel.” The House of Israel is the ten northern tribes that were divorced becasue of idolatry. Didn't the commandments given in Acts 15 officially establish a place in the congregation for Ger Toshiba(at the time of Yeshua they were called God fears or gate proselytes)?They seem very similar to the seven laws of Noah, which oral Torah states that any potential ger toshav is to follow when residing with the community, I've also heard certain Noahide groups teach something along these lines

How do you "become a Jew"? It is by blood, a descendant of Abraham. Rabbinic Judaism isn't even biblical, so adopting that certainly won't make you a Jew.
