Did JESUS Only Come for the JEWISH People?

In Matthew 15:24, Jesus says, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." What does Jesus mean? Does this statement by Jesus mean that he has only come for the Jewish people?

Well, as it turns out, this statement comes in the middle of complex passage, a passage about Jesus and the Canaanite, where a Canaanite (gentile woman) begs Jesus to heal her daughter. What follows is an exchange where some harsh words are seemingly spoken, and some have suggested Jesus commits a racial slur when he calls the Canaanite woman "a dog."

This video will examined how Jesus is not using exclusionary or racist language when talking to the Canaanite woman. And we'll also look at how Jesus certainly didn't just come for the Jewish people, but that this has been something long in the making. We'll also look at the significance of Isaiah 49:6-7 in confirming Jesus as the Jewish Messiah; as well as Romans 1:16

Read the Bible. It’s only for Jews not for gentiles. It straight up call Jesus the king of the Jews, not king of humans.

That says "Israel"... The 13 Tribes, not just one. The word "jew" is from the man named Yahudah which represents only one They highjacked the Israelite identity and took one tribal name to encompass all 13...

After reading all these comments, I'm so confused. I hate that there are so many views on this, I wish the truth could be clear. I should read the bible for myself, but not only that I guess I should look for the best translation too? I don't even know where to begin in my search for the truth. I'm so confused and I don't how I'm supposed to to view and think about God during this whole process. I keep hearing so many different views on this and because I haven't seen the whole picture yet I'm not sure what I'm supposed to think about God. This is so confusing, all I want is the truth.

Matt 4:22 You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. NIV You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is FROM the Jews. Verse 39 Many Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me all that I ever did.” 40 So when the Samaritans came to him, they asked him to stay with them, and he stayed there two days. 41 And many more believed zbecause of his word. 42 They said to the woman, “It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves, aand we know that this is indeed bthe Savior cof the world.”
43 After the two days he departed for Galilee. He healed a Gadarene (Gentile) demoniac (Matthew 8:28-34). Another time, among 10 lepers healed, one was a Samaritan (a mixed race, half-Jew), and Jesus remarked upon the fact that only the foreigner returned to thank Him (Luke 17:12-19). Jesus statement about Gentiles. John 10:16 And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd. He had Gentile believers follow him, his focus was on Israel and his commission fell on Paul to witness to the Gentiles. "This fold" refers to Judah—the Jews who were living in Judea. Christ come to His own—to the Jews—and His own did not receive Him (John 1:11).

KJV "I am not sent BUT unto the lost sheep of Israel", the Greek for but is also ONLY. Jesus "I am not sent only to the lost sheep of Israel", and when he spoke he helped the Gentile women.

I believe what Christ said in his own words, not interpretive spin doctoring. "Only the lost sheep of the house of Isreal shall be saved"

Isa 49:7

This is what the LORD says—
the Redeemer and Holy One of Israel —
to him who was despised and abhorred by the nation,
to the servant of rulers:
“Kings will see you and stand up,
princes will see and bow down,
because of the LORD, who is faithful,
the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.”

Didnt say much about the gentiles....

It is in Isa 49:6

Jesus was only connected with Jews, he didn’t even want to send his disciples to the Gentiles.Christian is always stubborn in believing their own ends. If this is the truth why was it not said. And Isaiah said the the gentiles were naughty and look at the apocalypse of Abraham. These comments are by person who is so set in their understanding that isn’t the truth. If Jesus didn’t say this why wasn’t it wrote. It surprises me that the church did not just leave it out and do as it did in Mark. The same verses just worded difference. Who knows what was the truth when lies are easy to put to the written word.

Jesus: "I was sent ONLY to the lost sheep of the house of Israel"... D. Kentie: "This is not an exclusionary phrase" LOL.. yes it was. Here's why. Jesus came for the sheep, not the dogs. Only Israel was referred to as sheep. Jesus died for his people (Mat 1:21, 2:6), which was Israel. He died for sins committed under the 1st covenant (Heb 9:15)...which was Israel and their forefathers. Christ's new covenant was with Judah and Israel (Heb 8:8). The Holy Spirit was only given to Israelites (Joel 2:28, Rev 7). Gentiles who were saved were non-Jewish descendants of the tribes of Israel who had been dispersed among the nations.

it is true that Christ only came for the lost sheep of Israel.
because all that believe in Christ and follow His ways are adopted to be sons and daughters of God(Israelites by spirit). The parable of the gape vine and the wild grape vine, and the olive tree and wild olive branches that was grafted symbolizes how gentiles were incorporated into the lineage of Israel.

two gentile women also became Christ's earthly ancestors by adoption, Rahab and Ruth.

All that honor and obey God will be adopted to the spiritual lineage of Israel and enter the New Jerusalem.

HallelujYah, plot twist is the world hasn’t grasped yet who the true Israelites are yet. Once they do, they will understand how to appropriately be grafted in. As of now 90% of people are still in a strong delusion. Listen to my words.

Soo... Jesus says he was only sent to the lost sheep of Israel exactly. And you want to argue that he wasn't. Smh. I really don't get the confusion. He is crystal clear. Lol. And it is Ok. There were mysterys revealed by Jesus to Paul that were kept hidden with the father since foundation of world. Meaning they were Not even prophesied or in ot. One of these mystery is that Jesus blood offers eternal salvation to all that believe and accept. That's my understanding of scriptures anyway.
